Anglican Church Ministry

The Parish of Long Point Bay is part of the Anglican Church of Canada (ACC). This means we are in full communion with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada (ELCIC).

Mutual recognition of baptism

We recognize Christian baptism with water in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The Parish of Long Point Bay is located in Norfolk County, Ontario.  It is a community of five Anglican Churches surrounding Long Point Bay on the North shore of Lake Erie. The Parish is part of the Diocese of Huron.  

St. John's, Port Rowan, St. John's, Woodhouse, and Memorial, Port Ryerse hold services every Sunday, alternating weekly between Eucharist and Morning Prayer. St. Andrew's-by-the-Lake, Turkey Point holds services from June to Labour Day. Christ Church, Vittoria holds two services a year as a Chapel-of-Ease.

Constructed: 1870
Regular Services: Sundays 9:30am

St. John's, Port Rowan

Location: 46 Front Street, Port Rowan
Founded:1858
Regular Services: Sundays at 10:00am

St. Andrew's By-The-Lake, Turkey Point

Location: 153 Cedar Drive, Turkey Point
Constructed: 1870
Building moved:1947
Regular Services: June to Labour Day 11am

St. John's, Woodhouse

Location: 883 Norfolk Street South, Simcoe 
Intersection: St. John's Road & Hwy 24 South
Constructed: 1821(rebuilt)
Regular Services: Sundays at 11am
