Blessing of the Animals
St. Francis of Assisi is the patron saint of animals. Traditionally, we take time to thank God for the blessings of creation and we bless our animals on this day. We remember St. Francis lived a life of poverty, cared for the sick, the outcasts, and fed the hungry. We are inspired by his example to do the same. So, bring your pet* for blessing, and a donation (either food or money) to be given to the local food bank.
(Donations are also appreciated for continued restoration efforts) 
*on leash and friendly.

As a Chapel-at-Ease, Historic Christ Church Anglican, Vittoria relies solely on community support and financial aid through fundraising and special events.
